I’ve never seen a backpack security product like this before, it’s pretty amazing. They come in a wide variety of sizes, and you can use it to strap your back to a solid object if you need to leave it, or just wrap it around your bag when the bag is left unattended at a hostel, train or baggage check. It’s a brilliant idea, but it almost seems too paranoid – but I’ve never had anything stolen while on a trip. What do you think? Is it too crazy to actually use?

I don’t like to be paranoid. Really, I don’t. But the thought that someone could hang out at an airport with a laptop and harvest my ID and personal information from my passport and credit cards bothers me. So… there’s an easy fix – shield all your private data. Put your credit cards in a metal wallet like this one and you’re safe.
