Personal GPS Tracker

Personal GPS Tracker

After getting lost amid the craziness of Beijing, I’m paranoid enough that I might actually get one of these. It’d be nice to know exactly where you parked, or where the train terminal is, or where the hotel is, right? It feels a little silly, but I really like these gadgets.

Mobile Foodie Survival Kit

August 29th, 2011 — 11:39am

Mobile Foodie Survival Kit

I’m not much of a foodie, so the utility of this mobile foodie survival kit is mostly lost on me. That being said, I know many people that consider themselves to be foodies, and this would be an awesome gift for them. The kit contains organic herbs and spices, plus a few extras like wasabi. Here’s the complete list of inclusion: Sea Salt, Black Pepper, Cayenne, Onion, Basil, Conventional Wasabi, Nutmeg, Oregano, Garlic, Thyme, Curry, Ginger, Dill. I don’t think they’ve missed anything, have they?

80 Watt Power Inverter

October 28th, 2010 — 4:13am

80 Watt Power Inverter
I bought one of these before the trips this Summer, and I feel like it’s the best purchase I’ve ever made. I could power (and recharge) my laptop, devices and phone, and run the kid’s DVD player as easy as pie. Though slightly expensive at $100, it makes a great gift!

Video Swim Mask

This new Video Swim Mask from ThinkGeek looks awesome! It takes pictures or video from the integrated waterproof camera, and a small LED light in the mask lets you know which option you chose. It records up to 52 seconds of video, plus it has a microSD slot so you can add more memory. What a great way to remember your Hawaiian snorkeling adventure!

Moleskine City Notebooks

I love the City Notebooks from Moleskine, I wish I had one on a few recent trips I’ve taken. They contain almost everything you might need for a journey to a new city, including maps, removable sheets, sticky translucent sheets for tracing your route, blank pages, adhesive labels, and more.
