Travel Bingo

The eponymous road trip family game, this Travel Bingo works great with littler kids because they just have to match up pictures with what they see. And it’s actually fun, too!

Everything that everyone hates about Monopoly makes it one of the great travel games. The never-ending games are perfect for long airport layovers, and Travel Monopoly has clip-on houses and hotels, location markers and money clips, and everything easily stores as-is, so you can quickly pack up the game, then start again right where you left off!

While surfing the Hertz website (yes, that’s what I do for fun!), I found that you can book an RV or campervan. Currently only available in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Francisco and Denver, it might be a fun way to see more of the countryside than you might otherwise. The booking is actually handled by Apollo RV, located primarily in Australia and New Zealand, but with the four offices in the U.S. For more motorhome rental options you can also try Cruise America, Camping World, Get RV and others.
So, what do you think? Have you ever rented a motorhome? Would you ever? I never have, but I feel like it might be fun. At about $100-$150/day, it might save a little bit of money over a traditional hotel vacation, too. It’s definitely worth trying, right?

How’s this for raising your heart rate while on your Caribbean cruise? The Labadee Zip Line, technically called the Dragon’s Breath Flight Line, is located in Labadee, Haiti and is the world’s longest zip line that travels over water. Participants can reach speeds of 40-50 miles per hour!
